As mentioned in the Lisbon Treaty, the EVHAC=E2=80=99s overall objective wi= ll be to establish a framework for joint contributions from European volunt= eers to humanitarian aid operations of the Union. It will allow European vo= lunteers to contribute to the EU humanitarian aid and to the organisations = delivering it. =20 EVHAC will tackle needs such as: clear and tested criteria to identify volu= nteers, structured training, and experienced volunteers for rapid deploymen= t in crisis contexts. This call for proposals makes available an amount of 850 000EUR to be used= in pilot projects with a maximum planned duration of 15 months.=20 The deadline for the proposals is on 20th April 2011.
