The aim of the project is the development of an optimum working model for a= Corporate Volunteering Scheme and to facilitate the set up of formal and s= tructured Corporate Volunteering Schemes based on European good practice in= the private sector and maximise the benefit of Corporate Volunteering Sche= mes to the third sector. Key objectives within the project also include th= e raising of awareness with regards to corporate volunteering in the partic= ipating countries=E2=80=99 private and third sectors as well as amongst the= general public. A maximum of six persons from partner countries Malta, Lithuania and Estoni= a will be participating in the Training-the-Trainer course. These persons w= ill eventually train human resources managers (or the equivalent) in their = respective countries on how to set up Corporate Volunteering Schemes which = are tailored to the needs of the organisations and NGOs of their regions.
