They bring comedy to the detective genre. Ursula wrote the text for the book, which comes with a Google Cardboard VR headset kit, ‘The Teleporter’, which turns the story into an interactive space journey! They are really great friends and they totally overcome all the racial drama from everyone else, because they're kids and kids are awesome. I'm guessing it's from the 60s or thereabouts. all i remember is there were two kids who inherited a trunk (maybe their aunt's?) and they were trying to find out what she wanted to tell them by getting it open. they had a clue saying there was a "key under the frog," but they couldn't find the frog... then one of them remembered that this weird-looking iron thing was actually called a GARDEN FROG. that was a big deal - the key was underneath it. when they opened the trunk they saw it was lined with flowered wallpaper and then noticed there was a single frog among the flowers. when they slit it open they found a bunch of hidden papers. this somehow led them to a house that seemed abandoned and had a stained glass window... that's all I remember. would so appreciate your help!!!

The novels follow a cook named Odd Thomas who has supernatural powers and uses them to solve mysteries. I was enquiring about a book my family read 30 years ago. Instead he pins the feet to his shirt to make a perch for her. It was shorter, say, like 40 pages maximum. I was in America at the time and it seemed like an American book.

Most people seek the more elusive (and I believe longer version) of the Big Golden Book. It was every bit as enchanting as I remember. One story has them fighting over what color to paint a doghouse--one wants yellow; the other blue, and it turns out green. Plot: A farmer has a mountain in his yard and has it moved only to realize the benefts of the mountain after it was gone. A Boy and Girl meet an old man who feeds the birds in winter, who turns green in the spring, then disappears, but a big tree appears.

I've just been talking with someone on the ABE boards who has this book and we are pretty certain this is it: "Martin builds a tele-spacer using odds and ends ... radio tubes, copper wire, aluminum foil, knobs, keys, an old fashioned space helmet (like a fishbowl), a bit of meteorite. Tennessee (Stop, You're Killing Me!): Lists 9 authors, with series or title protagonist, and brief description of protagonist and setting. He is a retired Belgian police officer who came to England during World War I as a refugee. Lackberg has been hailed as "the Swedish Agatha Christie." My mother thought it might have been a Golden Book, but isn't sure. Cons: It has a SLOW plot in the beginning. It was a dark and stormy night... (Last pages) This is not the end (on a page held by hands on a page stating) This is not the end ... Thanks so much for providing a wonderful service.

He is familiar with these books and knows the characters; Floppy, Chip, Kipper and Biff. But I DO remember the cover - a very bizzare looking mouse with gigantic oversized eyes riding a unicycle across a tightrope. This is not so much an adventure story, but Anne does live in "pioneer times" and was quite a spirited child, always getting into trouble. I read this book in the mid 1970s when I was in middle school. Who has composite and whorl finger prints?

Is Twite supports her cousin Arun on his quest to locate his missing mother in this tongue-in-cheek melodrama heavily populated with villains. The Moomins were little creatures, sort of trolls, who lived in a valley, and in this book there was a flood in the valley (possible leading to them living on a boat I admit I have have read most of the series except this one!). I vaguely recall the hardcover illustration, which was a vaguely psychedelic or flowery drawing style, possibly including a bicycle or vehicle with white background. United States (Stop, You're Killing Me!): Listed by state, author, title, series or title protagonist, brief description of protagonist and setting. I have to admit I used to be prejudiced against “the old bat” myself, but after reading her stories I became gradually convinced that she belongs to The Big Three of fictional detectives.
